“Gisaneh” brand was founded in 2010, inspired by the opportunity to use dried flowers in jewelry. This idea was so natural and spontaneous that we started working on it without even imagining that the “Gisaneh” brand would become my main work.
There was a great desire to create unique jewelry and fill the Armenian market with collections of one unique prototype. This became my primary goal as the author of the “Gisaneh” brand, emphasizing our individual approaches, the originality of each individual jewelry.
Interestingly, one of the most frequently asked questions is how long it takes to make each piece of jewelry. I think the reason is that they are all designed differently and none of them have a copy.
Naturally, I spend a lot of time designing jewelry, thinking about the design, and then moving on to its implementation. In fact, each piece of jewelry goes through 3 stages until it reaches its final form, which involves three different craftsmen.
I never limit myself to one piece of jewelry, but immediately think about creating a collection. It is difficult to say exactly how long this process takes, each jewelry requires its own approach, but I can say that over 12 years “Gisaneh” has created more than 4000 unique jewelry. We emphasize that we worked every day, regardless of the situation in the country, personal changes in life, making each piece of jewelry unique.
Naturally, each piece of jewelry has its own story, each one is dear to our heart in its own way. But if we highlight the most important for us, then I would like to highlight the collections of a limited edition of jewelry dedicated to Hakob Hovnatanyan, one of the Armenian artists and director Sergei Parajanov.
Throughout our work, I was more than confident that nature is perfect, and whatever I did, I always wanted to use flowers or plants as they are found in nature.
Although in my jewelry they are carefully placed under the resin, but the desire to leave them freer and in their natural form have not faded. And how happy I was when this year I found a very interesting solution. It's one of our future surprises to introduce a brand new series.
We know that every business requires an investment, be it love, care or time. It needs you like a child before he grows up and takes on a life of his own.
With love, I do everything possible so that one day “Gisaneh” will become quite mature, big, live independently, and will always exist, no matter what.
In conclusion, I would like to note that the assortment of "Gisaneh" jewelry is constantly updated. We started with feathers, combining flower petals with cardboard, creating a series of jewelry form broken plates, making handmade jewelry, that is, we constantly set up various experiments.
We use silver in all its possible forms, gilded and solidified. Today we work with semi-precious stones, which give unlimited possibilities for creativity. We try to be diverse not only in the choice of materials used, but also in our target groups, making the assortment interesting for different age groups: young, mature, women, men.
